A clean, banded take on the Andean throw - striped, not geometric, and fully reversible. One face is cream banded in warm taupe-grey and charcoal pinstripes; flip it over and the other is taupe-grey striped in cream - two looks in one handwoven fringe throw blanket, finished with two-tone tasseled fringe on both ends. Light enough to drape over a chair or your shoulders, tough enough to come along - the weavers make these for beach days, fall picnics, and evenings by the fire as much as for the sofa.

Beyond Borders Collective began when an entrepreneur from Quito and a volunteer from Nebraska met in the Ecuadorian highlands and fell for the textiles woven by Indigenous artisans in Otavalo. What started with a single blanket grew into a direct partnership with those weavers.

Each throw is handwoven in the Otavalo tradition from 100% post-consumer recycled acrylic - turning yarn waste into something lasting. The collective works directly with its artisans on ethical terms, with fair pay and healthy working conditions for the people who make each piece.
