Beyond Borders Collective began when an entrepreneur from Quito and a volunteer from Nebraska met in the Ecuadorian highlands and fell for the textiles woven by Indigenous artisans in Otavalo. What started with a single blanket grew into a direct partnership with those weavers.
Each throw is handwoven in the Otavalo tradition from 100% post-consumer recycled acrylic - turning yarn waste into something lasting. The collective works on fair-trade terms, with fair pay and healthy working conditions for the artisans who make each piece.
