Armstrong's All Natural is a small Brooklyn maker of leather, shoe, and fabric care. It began when a furniture maker, tired of switching between work boots and dress shoes, went looking for a petroleum-free leather care that wouldn't over-saturate - and, not finding one, started making it.
After more than a year of testing, the formulas came together using ingredients from small family farms. Everything is still made by hand in small batches with natural ingredients and recyclable packaging, and the brushes and daubers are built from natural materials like American wood, horsehair, and plant fiber.

Q: How do I wax canvas?
A: Warm the bar with a hairdryer until slightly soft, rub it onto the fabric like a crayon to cover the surface, then go over it again with the hairdryer to melt the wax into the fibers.
Q: What fabrics can I treat?
A: Canvas, cotton, and poly-cotton blends - jackets, tents, bags, shoes, and outdoor gear.
Q: How long does the waterproofing last?
A: It depends on use and weather, but most items hold up for several months of regular wear before they need a refresh.
Q: How much does one bar cover?
A: The 3 oz. bar generously covers several items - roughly a few jackets, or a mix of smaller bags and shoes.
Q: Will it change how my fabric looks?
A: It adds a subtle waxed patina and a slightly darker, lived-in waxed canvas finish on natural fabrics.
Q: Can I use it on synthetic technical fabrics?
A: It's made for natural fibers and cotton blends rather than synthetic technical materials.
