These napkins are woven by Mungo, a GOTS-certified textile mill in Plettenberg Bay on South Africa's south coast that has been weaving cloth since the late 1990s. The mill restored a set of antique looms and weaves its fabric in-house, from yarn to finished piece.

Because the cloth is woven and finished by hand, slight variations are part of its character. Mungo runs its mill openly to visitors and directs a portion of its annual turnover to local community programs.
