Embers & Leather Signature Candle - Vetiver Cedar Patchouli

Slow North is a woman-owned studio in Austin, Texas. It started when its founder, a new mother, went looking for genuinely clean home and body products and couldn't find them - so she began making her own. That has grown into a small-batch line of candles, bath and body goods, and home fragrance, all made by hand in the studio.

The approach is simple: every product has to pass the test of whether she'd want it in her own family's daily routine, which means real ingredients and no synthetic fillers or fragrance. Alongside the products, the studio also teaches candle-making workshops.

A: Essential oils of vetiver, cedar, and patchouli - smoky vetiver, warm cedar, and grounding patchouli that evoke weathered leather and slow-burning embers.

A: About 45-50 hours for the 8 oz size, with the wick trimmed and even burns.

A: Clean-burning soy wax with a cotton wick and pure essential oils - no synthetic fragrance.

A: Good for evenings and quiet reflection, when you want a deep, woody, grounding scent.

A: Trim the wick to 1/4 inch and let the wax pool fully across the surface for an even burn.
