A cold-process bar soap blending cinnamon, black pepper, and patchouli essential oils with Moroccan clay on a base of organic coconut and sunflower oils. The clay gives the bar a smooth, slightly grippy texture and natural pigment; the spice-forward essential oil blend has a warm, earthy character.

Slow North is a woman-owned studio in Austin, Texas. It started when its founder, a new mother, went looking for genuinely clean home and body products and couldn't find them - so she began making her own. That has grown into a small-batch line of candles, bath and body goods, and home fragrance, all made by hand in the studio.
