Two oversized dinner napkins in hand-spun Ethiopian cotton, in bronze or stone.
The dots are made with a pick-up technique, where the weaver separates the warp threads by hand and lifts each one into the cloth as she works. The lines running between them are woven with extra-thick hand-spun cotton, and that is where the weight and the texture come from.
At 20 inches square these are dinner napkins, not the small ones - big enough to sit across a lap properly. They soften with every wash.

Woven in a Fair Trade workshop in Ethiopia that has been woman-owned for over twenty years - a guaranteed member of the World Fair Trade Organization, a verified social enterprise, and OEKO-TEX STeP certified for sustainable textile production. Hundreds of artisans are employed there at equitable pay.
A 100% natural fiber, eco friendly and biodegradable. Handwoven, so weave tension and color depth vary a little between napkins, including the two in your set. Made in Ethiopia.

Orders ship from our workspace in Southern California, usually within 1-2 business days.
Textiles ship for $6, free over $100. Baskets ship for $16 to $28 depending on size, free over $150. Because the baskets nest inside one another, more than one size travels in a single carton and arrives together.

If something is not right, email support@bushandbriar.com within 30 days of delivery. Items should be unused and in original condition.
